DOCIMO WALKS ON AT SOUTHERN
With school back in session and our college student-athletes back on campus, we are excited to share some fantastic news about Stamford Senior Legion infielder Brandon Docimo. After a week-long tryout, Brandon has been named to the 2012 Southern Connecticut State University Baseball Team. He recently commented on making the team: "I am very excited to have made it, especially as a 'walk-on.' I knew I was ready for tryouts following a really competitive summer." We wish Brandon the best, and will follow his progress in the spring.
STAMFORD LEGION BASEBALL WALKS FOR CANCER
On Sunday (6/5) morning, players and coaches from all four Stamford Legion Baseball Teams participated in the annual "Hope in Motion - Bennett Cancer Walk/Run" in downtown Stamford. It was a day off from baseball and a chance for the players to be a part of a community-wide event for a great cause. Click here for a pictures.
