John MacDonald was brilliant on the pitcher's mound on Saturday, as he threw a no-hitter to lead Post 3 Seniors past Norwalk Seniors 8-0.  Post 3 Seniors secured the victory thanks to five runs in the seventh inning. Post 3 Seniors's big bats in the inning were led by doubles by Adam Stone and Timothy Wainwright, a triple by Bobby Cribbin, and a single by Conor Nicholson.  

Post 3 Seniors opened up scoring in the first inning, when Reid Gesualdi drew a walk, scoring one run.  Post 3 Seniors put up five runs in the seventh inning. The rally was led by doubles by Stone and Wainwright, a triple by Cribbin, and a single by Nicholson.

MacDonald took the win for Post 3 Seniors. He allowed zero hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out ten.  Keehn took the loss for Norwalk Seniors. He surrendered three runs on three hits over six innings, striking out one.  Post 3 Seniors racked up ten hits on the day.

Grafstein and Stone had two hits each to lead Post 3 Seniors.
