Post 3 Senior's Two Pitchers Combine In No-Hitter To Defeat Trumbull Seniors

Michael Newman induced a groundout from #57 to get the last out of the game, as two pitchers teamed up to a throw a no-hitter in Post 3 Seniors's 2-0 defeat of Trumbull Seniors on Tuesday.
The pitching was strong on both sides. Post 3 Seniors pitchers struck out 11, while Trumbull Seniors pitchers sat down eight.
Blake Newcomer was the winning pitcher for Post 3 Seniors. He lasted six and two-thirds innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out 11 and walking one. Newman threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.
#30 started the game for Trumbull Seniors. He went three innings, allowing zero runs on one hit and striking out four. #29, #99, and #2 each contributed in relief for Trumbull Seniors.
Michael Grafstein, Adam Stone, and Dean DePreta each managed one hit to lead Post 3 Seniors.
